Therapeutic Messenger You Say?
Some years ago while working in No. Calif and So. Oregon, I was posing a question in my meditation that basically went like this. I have been a lot of things in my life, the most basic and obvious being a human being, then a child, then an adolescent, then a logger, then a US Marine, then a ballet dancer, then again a logger, then a husband and father to two wonderful children now grown with children of their own, a merchant, a truck driver, a refrigeration mechanic, a water purification tech, a pre-law/nursing/alcohol chem dependency student, a terminally diagnosed hep c patient, a certified level II nutritional live blood microscopist, sero-negative hep c survivor , managing facility director for the Lane Street Effort homeless shelter in far Northern California, an estate manager in So. Oregon, a political activist, truck driver again and currently. But what am I really, that can describe my purpose here in this place and time? Something, a term that describes both what I am and what I do by purpose and design? In the wee hours of the morning while just awakening to the peaceful darkness of predawn a small voice came to me in my quiet and said, “why silly, you are a therapeutic messenger. So the next time some one asked me what it is that I do, I answered with a very matter of fact statement; I am a Therapeutic Messenger by both calling and avocation, but do a variety of things to pay the rent and feed the body.
Now to answer the question of what it is that a therapeutic messenger does.
"I am called through Christ's Love to be dedicated in partnering with you, to respond to your highest and greatest good, at your level of intent, for the purposes of achieving maximum well being for Spirit, mind and body."
Some five years ago, after suffering a debilitating back injury, which put me flat on my back for nearly a year, I prayed and asked,"Well, now that I am in no condition to make a living doing what I know in the physical labor area of general construction and heavy equipment, what do I do?" The answer came to me as a persistent thought, which took the form of what I am called to do. Be a therapeutic messenger. I had no direction on being a therapeutic messenger to go by, so I had to work it out on my own using the Bible as a primary instructional text.
The above quote in bold letters is what I figured out. It is broken down into five parts, each part representing one year of prayer, meditation and finally understanding to be able to pass it on to you the reader.
So, here it is to the best of my understanding.
1.I am called through Christ's Love...... It had to be Through the great Master Teacher, Saviour, and perfect example of Love, as I have not the capacity on my own.
2.to be dedicated in partnering with you...........That is to say by mutual agreement with you whomever you may be.
3. to respond to your highest and greatest good, meaning, all interaction that I have with you shall be for your highest and greatest good and I am to be accountable to you and to that ideal.
4. at your level of intent, What you put in in terms of your sincerity and how far you are willing to push yourself, I will match. true synergy, the sum of the parts being greater than the whole. Not much input on your part, you still get 110% from me.
5. for the purpose of achieving maximum well being for Spirit, mind and body. All that I do shall be purposed to build you up in Spirit mind and body. I shall be ever mindful of our interactions being for the highest and greatest good. To see how I do that...... www.therapeuticmessenger.com
In this new century, I am directing my life and energies in a more focused manner toward being a therapeutic messenger. No small task as not everyone is geared to hearing or recieving therapeutic messages. In that vein I have decided to ask folks who are aware of and deeply disturbed by the total betrayal of our government, just what they feel they as individuals, can do about the current state of affairs on this earth today. Or for that matter, if they feel that they as an individual, can have any meaningful effect/affect at all. To aid each individual in the pursuit of this query I submit first the Bible, then perhaps writings of Greg Braden, Wayne Dyer, Dr. Bruce Lipton as a good entry points to discover that your power to initiate change for the good is truly limitless. Braden's DVD The Science of Miracles is a good place to start from the previously mentioned works. I can suggest much more in terms of information if you respond to my email, theramess@gmail.com. I seek like minded individuals who are interested in affecting positive change in our world. Just post a reply here, comment or email me and I will respond to every email in a timely manner.
